The price was great for a CHEAPLY cut, painted and prepped corner shelf. Looks good if you're still sure. Poor / No instructions on how to properly measure EACH INDIVIDUAL shelf and all the distances between the mounting grooves in the wood. The shelves aren't created equal (Uh-huh!) My suggestion, like others, is NOT to use the included plastic drywall anchors (they twist and the screws push into the anchors and don't catch). Also, the 9mm pilot bit is oversized and can easily catch in one or more of the mounting hole studs since US building codes have the corner room design of the studs. There's nothing you can do about it as the holes need to be where they are for the shelf to fit in the corner. You will also need a square using a fine ruler and possibly a spirit level and pencil to draw the lines of the shelves and use the ruler to measure from the corner of the shelf to both hardware cutouts on each side of each shelf and then measure and mark the wall for an accurate pilot. holes. Hitting the edge of the bolt will most likely cause the drill bit to fly out of the pilot hole and damage the drywall holding the anchor in place. I and many others here have acknowledged the need for a drywall repair to proceed. You will need to repair the drywall with Spackle before reinstalling the fastener and then wait 24 hours for it to cure before using the screw. Looks great if you know how to repair drywall. The only alternative is to patch all the holes, repaint and move the shelf line to a different height and start over. Much luck. Very sturdy, once carefully assembled has the potential to make your space look a lot prettier with accent pieces.
