Open Box Warehouse Deal

The product itself is great and if I bought it new I would give it a four or five. This is a DVD player/CD player. I can't confirm the quality of the DVD, but the CD sounds good when plugged into the vehicle. I gave it a D because my problem was that it had to be very good and only had cosmetic "problems". In fact, the latch holding the CD door was broken and the battery cover on the remote was missing. It was visually obvious something was wrong, so I don't know why it wasn't detected. BUT I ended up leaving it as I can adapt to the 'locking problem' of how to keep it in my car as a CD player. Actually I left it because at the price of a warehouse it costs about the same as a power cord. If you buy any of the other "cheaper" devices new you will need to buy a 3.5 car plug AND a power cord as they are usually battery operated. So watch out for this "problem” when buying a CD player. Make sure there is a power cord. This new device has a power cord. Subsequent purchase will cost you so I would recommend that this unit is 'new' and do not force it open or you will break the door latch. But as always with warehouse deals, there's a bit of a dice roll. This is the first warehouse deal I've had trouble with, so I don't judge warehouse deals. IMHO they are worth the throw.
