This fits nicely in my standard outlet. It feels nice and sturdy but as others have said I had to leave the old cap on because the back doesn't really fit into the socket. No problem. The screw is long enough. Like all new outlets, they are very tight, requiring force to insert the plugs. But it's powerful enough that I don't have to use two hands to knock it out, so I think that's a bonus. Charging is good and convenient. The other charging connectors I've used are very sloppy and the cable comes out easily. Not this one.
