I know they all have different shapes because they are made by hand. Mine is apple shaped, which I don't like. However, the bowl is indeed a great bowl. I have a live edge acacia coffee table (darker) and this bowl looks really good for holding a few small things in one place. It has a nice satin sheen rather than a high sheen which is nicer (in my opinion). The grain is beautiful and it has been sanded very smooth. Very happy with it. A wonderful bowl.
