Review on ๐Ÿ”‡ Walker Exhaust Quiet-Flow 50055: Premium Muffler Assembly for Ultra-Quiet Performance by Damon Mertz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They should have made a minivan out of the same stainless steel as this muffler!

Update, this muffler was still in perfect condition when the van was scrapped (van was 9.5 years old / 80,000 miles). I had to weld new patch panels into the rockers to get the last 3 inspection badges. The dealer offered us $300 for an exchange, so we gave it to our nephew. I don't think he worked 6 months. So muffler is good, 2006 Chrysler products are bad. Original Review: The pipes themselves fit great (rear ones took a little more work as my original muffler was a one piece tailpipe/muffler), good build quality and stainless steel, length was correct too but the two side mounts weren't right for my application. down so the muffler body is essentially level (if left alone the entire muffler would have to be rotated at a serious angle). I don't know if it was designed for a slightly different application than the short wheelbase 0.6ft Caravan I. installed, but in the end it went fine. It was sold unboxed and with large stickers that needed to be peeled off/melted down, but since shipping didn't damage it in that way I didn't deduct a single star for it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Upgradable
