I used to snap off the tips of my Apple Pencil all the time but they've been falling off and whatnot and it's very cool and still seems to work. It just takes some getting used to once you use it, as it can cause your Apple Pencil to drag on the screen at times, creating gaps in your lines. Need to find the right pressure to use it.
