I installed these on the front of a 2011 S550 about six months ago. As a background I have been repairing and maintaining vehicles for decades. I also have a small fleet (15) of friends' cars that I work on. I usually spend the extra money and buy manufacturer pads because I've had issues with aftermarket pads squeaking in the past. I took a chance with them based on other reviews and am very glad I did. These pads hold up well, don't squeak at all and leave minimal brake dust compared to OEM Mercedes pads. In fact, I can say with certainty that they are vastly superior to the original pads. I look forward to replacing the rear pads with Akebonos if they should be. For the front brake work, the dealer charged $865 for pads and discs (not that I would ever take them there, I'm just calling them to find out their price because it's so ridiculous I find it funny ). I replaced the front pads and rotors for only $175 and know the job is getting done right. Just because you take your car to a dealership doesn't mean they're doing a good job.
