I like the different power levels (from minimum to maximum) when pulling the lever. Picks up both smooth floors and carpets perfectly. It is light and easy to lift and carry. This isn't a dislike as I knew the length of the cord before I bought it, but it could be longer, at least 20-25 feet. The hose, which is said not to tear, could be more flexible and a little longer. The brushes that come with it are fine. The carpet/subfloor brush was a bit difficult to slide across the carpet unless you set it up at the right angle, maybe the wheels on it could be bigger or something to make it glide across the carpet more smoothly. I've had no issues with bare floors, there's also a bare floor lever (a small rubber flap) that falls down to help push out crumbs for vacuuming. I also like that there is no roller brush, no hair to get caught and have to spend time trimming it off the roller.
