Review on ACCEL Performance SuperStock Coil - ACC 8140 in Yellow by Greg Usry

A little difficult to fit into the stock spool mount on my GS, this spool is a slightly larger diameter but managed to fit and using pliers to screw the mount into place. Make sure you insert it into the mount in the orientation you want as there is no twisting once inserted. If you use a different mount, your experience may vary. Mixed reviews on this coil, it was recommended for use with their HAL effect point change system, this is a liquid sump style, I would only mount vertically as pictured, not sideways for this reason, other experiences, glitches can be attributed to the horizontal Be fitting the oil filled spool and as I have not read anything in the instructions warning against fitting this way this could be the reason, those who have had spool failures from this spool are welcome to call back below. I only know from past experience with these coils that they usually come with an explanation of the correct assembly procedures for liquid oil cooling. If the liquid is like this with gel coils, it is a sign of a bad coil. -Intake ignition update so no time to talk yet, will update if problems arise, so far so good, quick response. 1 star removed because fact does not climb, must be vertical.
