As the E90 ages and is exposed to the sun for ten years, the adhesive holding the mirror to the plastic base plate will disappear and the side mirror may suddenly detach and shatter when the door is closed. Rather than buying the entire plate and glass assembly from a retailer, this is a much better solution that fits perfectly. The adhesive sticker was easy to work with and stuck for over 6 months without any problems.
