Can Fit Your Dog - Know Your Angles

You can't teach an old dog new tricks, that was true for us. Our 12 year old Australian didn't take part. I lost count of the treats we prepared for her, but that couldn't overcome her dislike of the stairs. I like the feel of the stairs and the grip of the steps. The mechanism seems pretty solid. An easy problem to fix is the gap at the top of the ladder between the block and the rear of the SUV. This allows your dog to pause to see the gap. A simple rigid gap board can help. A smart dog with some training is more likely to climb stairs. One of our concerns was that we can only use it on the back of our SUV. It doesn't work in the doors of our mid-size SUVs or pickup trucks. The corner of the door prevents a good surface for full contact with the stairs. A full size truck might be ok if you load in the back seat. Worth a look, but consider your pet's ability to learn a new skill.

Pros
  • NON-SLIP SURFACE AND BOTTOM: These steps are reinforced with double non-slip fabric to prevent pets from slipping when ascending and descending. It also features rubber pads on the bottom for extra grip and a quick release carabiner to provide triple protection for attaching the ladder to your car.
Cons
  • Very expensive
