This was my first experience with auto vinyl. This product appeared to be genuine and behaved as expected based on the instructional videos I watched prior to ordering. The goal was to cover a few spots on my hood where the paint had failed. I primed and sanded these areas to a smooth finish and applied the vinyl. I can hardly see the gray primed areas through the foil. I wish I could, but the main goal was to hide the eyesore and prevent further metal decay. My wife helped me attach the vinyl by positioning it correctly first and keeping the loose vinyl off the hood and out of the way. I could have done it on my own but we did it in under an hour.
