Bad wall mount slots

I bought this because USB charging ports can deliver more power than most other versions. I plan to install it on the bottom of the table. However, the wall mount slots were poorly designed. Don't let the screw head slide all the way to one end of the slot, meaning the extension will only hold a millimeter of grip. I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not.
