Good radio. for portable audio and video

Despite what everyone says about Chinese radio, this is a workhorse. I can honestly say the radio for the power output. At high power, it transmits 70 watts. I recommend turning the radio on with low power as the radio gets a bit warm. I installed a small aftermarket fan on top of the radio and it cools really well. . I want to emphasize that this is amateur radio and you need an amateur license. I easily hit repeaters 75-100 miles away. Manual programming on the radio is very easy. I read the manual for about 10 minutes and figured out the radio and program. I would definitely recommend this radio to anyone who has great reception and everyone gives me a good sound check telling me the sound is very clear. Despite the fact that the radio is very similar to the BTECH 5001, it is a different radio, inside the menu is completely different. Please ensure that if you are using this radio as a base you will need a power supply of at least 15 amps. The best antenna is Comet x50 available from Revain. And I recommend the LMR 400 flexible coaxial cable. .Upgrade. I've had the radio for 9 months and NO PROBLEMS. The power and sound are still loud and proud. .13.10.17. It's been about a year and the radio still works perfectly. .No problems at all. 0.73 sec The update is 1 year old and the radio works better than ever. .Updated 11/10/18. The radio still works perfectly and without any problems. Updated 27th July 2020. I've had the radio for at least four years now, no problems and still working. 11/30/20 The radio still works and there are no problems. .
