Review on Household Essentials 80091 Standard Ironing Board by Jeremy Mondragon

Nothing came out Good

When I managed to ruin our first ironing board cover I ordered this one thinking it would be a good investment at a great price. I wanted something strong enough to use but not very expensive as we don't iron that often. The case itself has a gray top with an elastic cord on the sides to keep it in place. Underneath is a loose layer of foam. There are no cross straps to keep it on the board and no foam attached to the top. I'd love to tell you how it works, but unfortunately I didn't manage to place it properly on the board. The sides kept popping up and the foam sliding off until I realized the nose foam was broken. At that point I gave up the case as a lost cause and started buying a more expensive case with cross straps to hold it. and with foam sewn into the piece itself. It cost about twice as much, eliminated the hassle, and fit the board perfectly. This could be a perfectly serviceable cover, but I found it almost impossible to install on my board and I'm much happier with the new cover I have now. Iron! ^_^ Shanshad
