We bought this for a spring/summer duvet for our bed. Unfortunately, I sweat at night (memory mattress) and needed a lighter duvet that my husband would be comfortable in and that I wouldn't wet the whole bed with. We have a Temporpedia king bed that sits high off the floor. I also sleep like an octopus and steal blankets. Poor husband. I'm tired of blankets that hang very short on the sides. It was perfect! We washed it before use, which is why there is a crumpled area in the photos. There were no flaws or problems. It practically hangs from all sides to the ground. Not quite there, but close enough. The design is actually sewn, not artificially sewn. Softness - 4 stars. It's not as soft as the fleece or blanket in the photo, but it's pleasant to the touch. No scratches or roughness. As for the cooling factor, I haven't broken a sweat since using it. So for me it's a win-win situation. And the man has a lot of blankets in the morning because there are a lot of awnings on all sides. Great investment and I would buy another one without hesitation.
