Compared to a cat litter you will be very disappointed. It's not that strong thick hard plastic. There are also many small flaws on the surface. First, there are whitish surface stains, ink stains and scratches on the inside corners as if used. I can't select a color option either. I have two purple. I didn't mind, but for someone else it might be. I personally wouldn't use it as a litter box. The reason I bought it was to use as a litter box for my rabbit. The size was perfect for her cage. The height of 4" is small enough that she can easily jump over it. She seems to like it. Due to the quality, it only got 3 vs. 5 stars. The overall price should be cheaper.
