Ordered these seat cushion sets for the whole family. My brother said it was a little hard at first, but then it started to soften a little. I know body heat will do that to the memory foam, so I asked him to wait a while. A week later, he said he didn't know how he used to do it without him. My sister had back pain from a previous surgery, she had adhesions on her tailbone and it was very painful for her to sit. I have bought several different pillows over the years but most were too firm and the softer ones flattened out over time. I personally love this set, it's a very good combination of mesh backrest and memory foam seat cushion. About the mesh for the backrest I would like to say that it has a very strong frame, a soft, thick, comfortable mesh material and the best part is that they have straps with silicone that attach to the chair. In general, this is an excellent, quality and useful product.
