Had extrusion problems on my Ender3. The hot end was constantly clogged. I've tried various remedies to fix the PTFE tube, upgrade the extruder mechanism, etc. After some troubleshooting, I found that the hot end fan (instead of the controlled filament cooling fan) would sometimes not turn on. The hot-end fan must ALWAYS be on. After removing the fan and peeling off the label, I found that the red wire was unsoldered from the fan motor. I might resell but decided to buy a new fan. Since the fan kit was very cheap, I decided to buy one kit, swap out the fan on the hot end and keep the other in case one should break as well. My problem was solved and now I'm happy to print.
