Had extrusion problems on my Ender3. The hot end was constantly clogged. I've tried various remedies to fix the PTFE tube, upgrade the extruder mechanism, etc. After some troubleshooting, I found that the hot end fan (instead of the controlled filament cooling fan) would sometimes not turn on. I was one of those (many) people trying to break fan blades to clean the nozzle with tweezers. This is very common and does not always affect print quality.
