Review on Efficient and Compact Creality Original 40X40X10MM Extruder Printer: Boost Your Printing Experience by John Bailey

OEM can't be wrong on AM products

I was one of those (many) people trying to break fan blades to clean the nozzle with tweezers. This is very common and does not always affect print quality. Depends on which blade broke and how it affected the balance of the fan. It got louder, that's for sure. So printed for a while without incident. until I broke the second blade. Now the printer sounded like an old airplane taking off, and my prints made their quality vibrate into the ground. It's time for a replacement. I was considering "upgrading" the fan to something nicer and quieter but came across this listing while browsing and found the price was right and I couldn't accidentally get the wrong fan. a no-brainer, I recommend putting ferrules on the ends before inserting it into the terminal (and trim off the tinned ends, tinned ends + terminals = fire hazard, don't know why they still tin these.). I was really surprised when I installed and ran this, it's significantly quieter than the fan I had on my printer and my print quality is better than ever. So I suspect that at some point the OEM fans were also improved. The extra fan is nice to have too, but I haven't had to use it yet. I'll probably use it in a dual fan solution in the future.
