The camera left me with very conflicting thoughts and feelings. 1. Video. Very respectable and with pleasant illumination. When there is not enough light, the image becomes significantly less sharp. I have a sneaking suspicion that the noise was purposefully muddled on purpose in order to bring down the bitrate. The stabilizer is very good, but the quality of the work it does is contingent on the frame rate. At a rate of fifty frames per second, one could say that it functions flawlessly. At a rate of 200 frames per second, the quality is much lower. Therefore, the conclusion is that everything should be fine, the camera is very suitable, as long as you plan to shoot between 30 and 50 frames per second in well-lit environments. 2. Batteries are a nightmare; I discussed this topic in the previous paragraph. 3. Computer work and various forms of software. And as a result, initial suspicions that the software in the camera itself is not very well optimized turn into a firm belief that the programming department there is of very poor quality. I downloaded and installed their app on my android. After that, the frantic activity started. The application is aware that the camera is present but does not wish to establish a connection with it. However, despite the fact that the connection "is," nothing takes place. And everything else along those lines. After experiencing such "enjoyment" for a couple of hours, I was finally able to give the camera a name, update its firmware, and briefly examine a preview of the files that were stored within it. Another one in a long line of "misunderstandings": in order to link up with the phone, they make use of both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth simultaneously. To what end? despite the fact that in the chamber every ounce of energy counts as something important. 4. Attach any necessary fasteners. If only it weren't quite so tragic, it might be funny. The kit comes with a pair of pads, one of which is flat and the other is bent, that can be attached to the helmet using Velcro. The fact that there is NOT a threaded tripod mount is, however, very important. Is this method effective in reducing the use of plastic (despite the fact that such a "device" costs a and a half dollars)? No. Within the packaging, the camera is fastened to a substantial piece of plastic that is large enough to accommodate three mounts of this type. Evidently, and in this case, they desired to cut the dough in order to make room for a "additional device." To be fair, we should mention that it is possible to fashion a makeshift miniature tripod out of this piece of plastic if you carefully remove it from the packaging and trim off any excess. However, this already constitutes a "circle of skilled hands."
