Mandrel broken on first use, poor customer service

When I first used one of the mandrels included in this kit, it broke. I emailed the seller on the 18th and never received a reply. Bad customer service.

Handy Little Tool - Tools and Equipment

This is a handy little tool for setting rivet nuts. Only worn size 10-24. 1/4-20 might be a bit more difficult to set up, but I haven't tried that yet. I have a larger tool that does 1/4, M6 and up.

Part needed

I want to contact the seller. I've used this on about 30 M4 rivets but the m4 part actually broke off in my rivet. Can I get a replacement M4 pistol core? Please let me know how to do that, thanks

IT WORKS OUT. IT'S EASY TO USE.

THIS TOOL WORKS WELL. THIS IS EASY TO USE. IT EXCELLENT IN TEST ROOMS. IT IS METAL, NOT PLASTIC. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE HOLE FOR THE SMALLEST POSSIBLE SIZE. THIS MAKES IT EASIER TO INSTALL ANY NUTSERT.

There is no Dorn 6-32 in the original and replacement delivery

There was no Dorn 6-32 in the original delivery. He had 2 8-32. I was replaced with a product and the second batch was already open and had 2 spikes 8-32 and not 6-32. So obviously they can't supply the mandrel that I use the most!

Robust, well-made tool.

I was disappointed that multiple nuts for each size were not included. I was wrong in that assumption. So I went back online and ordered a set of inch and metric nuts. case wouldn't hurt either. If there were multiple samples I would give 5 stars.

Unforgivable - Tools and Equipment

April 2019 Update: I was contacted by a seller whose catalog has been expanding since my original purchase and without asking they sent me a replacement shaft and got back to me with replacements they have for sale. Wow - what was I thinking, I was trying to install rivets with a nut and bolt?

So this thing is amazing. I used the long fastener + nut method to install the first two rivets I bought. Aside from each one taking about 10 minutes, I cut the clasp off on the second. A few clicks on Revain at 3pm and the next day at noon I had it. Wow, this makes installing rivet nuts so easy. The rivet pear is 20 times better shaped, forming a beautiful and durable interface.
