This piece doesn't stay in place, if you touch it it wobbles a lot. We had to put some styrofoam on the bases to keep them from wobbling. He is very weak and small, and I doubt he can bear the heavy weight of our winter coats here in Boston. Hooks move, not fixed. Shelves for shoes are made of very thin material, which also cannot withstand a lot of weight. There were no "instructions" in the instructions, just some horribly bad resolution charts that I could barely read. I think it was cheap but wish I'd spent a little more for something that could actually stand up straight and hold things.
