First of all we have to consider the value for money of this DVD player. It might not be the best product, but for the price, it's a good deal. It feels a bit flimsy (I have a Philips 7" DVD player, which is much more solidly built) and the piano finish, while cool, is also very easy to scratch and smudge (which is a problem since the DVD my 6 year old child) The sound and picture are surprisingly good (I've read some reviews complaining about low noise levels but I found this quite normal and not a problem) The remote control and swivel screen work perfectly. There were no problems reading video through the USB port (there was no time to test the card reader yet) Forget the case that comes with the player (this is garbage) I bought a case Instead, a logical PDVS- 3. The end result is a decent DVD player for less than $100.
