I have owned over 27 motorcycles and scooters over the past 30 years. That makes me think this is about the sixth tank bag I own. My last was a VERY good Nelson Rigg for almost $100 which was second best! Butโฆ I was persuaded to stick with this bike when I sold it. SOโฆ a few years later and back on a sport bike I needed a different tank bag. This time (not knowing how long I'll keep my new SV650 to myself) I wanted to go on the cheap side. And after reading the reviews I chose this one. The clear plastic cover makes it easy to see and see map instructions and the phone's touchscreen works as it should (Samsung Galaxy Note8). The zippers appear to be of decent quality. These are not KKK branded zips but have worked well so far. The only 2 comments I have is that I wish there were much better magnets in the bag. Mine never came loose, mind you. But for reassurance, I wish there were more or stronger/stronger magnets to hold it securely to the tank. And 2) The material of construction seems very strong, but after a few hundred kilometers it leaves tiny scratches. I made this easier by using Scratch X to remove the scuffs AND I glued a thin piece of felt material to the bottom of the bag. OX. Problem solved. But it could and should have been like this from the start. However, $4 worth of supplies and glue are already at home and the job is done. However, I RECOMMEND and RECOMMEND this bag to others for those looking to buy a cheap tank bag. A NOTICE. I haven't tested the water resistance yet, so I can't comment on that.
