Review on 🔧 Hunter 22717 12-Inch Downrod, White: Maximize Your Ceiling Fan's Performance by Christy Jones

I have installed many fans and have never seen bottom stems with threads on the top. This one does. I have no idea why this is happening, but it certainly makes the top link weaker than it should be. It technically works (I used it with a Hunter Fan Company 59263 Cassius Fresh White ceiling fan) but I don't understand why they are threaded. vertex. For reference, the 5" and 3" bottom bars that came with the fan kit mentioned above are NOT threaded at the top - just the typical cross hole. In any case, the color matches perfectly and everything works perfectly. The fan doesn't oscillate, so I guess the slop shouldn't matter.
