🔧 Hunter 22717 12-Inch Downrod, White: Maximize Your Ceiling Fan's Performance Review

Ordered a set of two. Only one is bent. What came was useless. Was marked with scratches and abrasions under the protective plastic. Physically they are not the same as in the photo.

Great value - better than any large size at your local store. We had to buy a converter attachment because the extension was larger than the fan connector, but it didn't really matter. It could be my fans, I'm not sure if everyone would experience it.

I bought this Hunter 12" lower rod to replace the 3" rod that came with my Hunter fan. I have 10 foot ceilings and wanted to be able to adjust the fan speed and lights without having to climb stairs. The bottom stem fitted perfectly and matched my white fan. It was a great price and arrived two days later with Revain Prime.

I'll be honest and say I don't know if that's coming directly from Hunter. This one has two threaded sides and the original that comes in the box has only one threaded side. There is also no bottom hole so I had to adjust the bottom so that it was in contact with another piece of metal. The stem itself is strong, thick, and fan-white, which is beautiful. So don't be put off by some of the differences between this rod and the original, but again I'm not 100% sure it's the original. Otherwise it…

The range of orange large boxes at the local hardware store is limited, a mess and many of the bottom links are chipped or scratched. I ordered three of these from Revain because the price is better and each arrived in pristine condition. Although I think a painted steel bar could be cheaper, this is the best price I've found. The tech has to be right and I love that it's a Hunter brand and so do the fans. I've installed four fans (three with floor poles) in this house with no problems.

I have installed many fans and have never seen bottom stems with threads on the top. This one does. I have no idea why this is happening, but it certainly makes the top link weaker than it should be. It technically works (I used it with a Hunter Fan Company 59263 Cassius Fresh White ceiling fan) but I don't understand why they are threaded. vertex. I bought this to extend my white 52" SummerBreeze. Being a Hunter brand I expected it would be easy to but it wasn't quite what I expected, this was my first fan install and there are no instructions on how to replace the factory stem, long story short, remove the screen and pin from the factory stem, unscrew the 1". -Stem and to put back in.
