We did a study on ants at school for my preschooler and although I was scared of ants running around my house it was a great addition to our study. Ants can't get out - breathe a sigh of relief! - and seeing how they work was worth it! Like all living things, they die if they are not fed and watered. And ours died. π We will save the farm for my extra 2 kids to use again in kindergarten when they get there!
