Maybe or not cheaper than buying locally but my local hardware store never stocks them in this size. Yes, you can buy a 10-foot machine at Home Depot and ask them to cut it, but chasing a guy around the store to start the cutter sucks. Alternatively, you can buy a large manual pipe cutter and cut 10 feet yourself if you have a vise. Either way, it's very easy and worth it. They are threaded on both ends and I was concerned that I would have to cut the threads on one end to allow the Bessie clip to slide, but I didn't have to. The brackets go as is.
