I first tried some 3 inch casters on my log cart in the workshop. difficult to move and then difficult to control while moving. Any obstacle, like any nail or piece of wood on the ground, would stop them. I then progressed to these versions (6 1/4 inches). The casters make the log cart easy to roll, easy to steer, and able to roll expansion joints, nails, and wood shavings as if they weren't there. better than smaller rollers, but I'm not trying. But it's nice to know I can. I didn't notice any smell from them, even from day one. that I have to make sure the wooden cart is within the threshold of the garage, well above the weird doctor. ive They roll so smoothly that if the cart ever strays from my side, my neighbor across the street gets about 100 feet of assorted hardwoods and a new garage door. Which really wouldn't be the foundrymen's fault.
