Ideal for repairing small moth holes in cashmere sweaters

A few years ago my mum discovered a moth problem in her closet - a bunch of her cashmere sweaters had holes in them! She was embarrassed to wear them and upset about it. I wanted to see if this product could help and it does. I have read the instructions and watched the video. First we tried on one of their oldest cashmere sweaters - it had almost 8 holes and looked awful! It's in such bad shape that she now only wears it as a layer under other sweaters. For the lining we used material from the side straps of a very old flesh colored bra - it was as thin as the material of the lining. You must use a very thin material for the patch - thicker materials may cause patches to protrude or appear more visible. Anyway, today I sat down with this to see if it worked and I used it on 5 mole holes and it actually worked! After that, the holes weren't noticeable - you had to look closely to understand that there were some problems in those places. Mom was very excited and is now trying to fix the remaining holes on the same old sweater. I don't know how well it holds up to dry cleaning, but it seems very effective for small holes. If the holes are larger, say 1/8 inch, I'm not sure how well this will work. Also, you need to find the right yarn to fill such a large gap or hole, and there may not be enough fabric to steal the stitches. I'm not sure I would use it on super expensive "investment grade" garments either. But to fix small holes in everyday clothes, this is a great economical solution. If I take photos for other repairs I will update the review later.
