After I wrote this review, ALWUP contacted me again and solved my problem to my great satisfaction. Pay attention to the sound quality. When I wore headphones, I found that the sound didn't satisfy me. When I wear both the sound is much better and worth the little money they cost. But, hey, I don't just wear them individually. I haven't had the chance to use these headphones while making a call with a mobile phone, so I have no opinion on the quality of the sound or the microphone. I will say that I recommend these headphones and I highly recommend this seller as well. ALWUP went above and beyond to ensure I had a working product and they did it in a very timely manner. Just like the title. The left and right headphones need to be paired together to use them at the same time. I'm assuming this is done by the factory or automatically at power up. Mine didn't pair and didn't connect at all. I contacted ALWUP and they tried to help me with some steps to get them to connect. Unfortunately none of the steps worked. I am sending them back for a refund. I was able to pair one earbud at a time with my mobile phone and as a result the sound wasn't up to scratch for me. The sound is the only reason I'm not getting the replacement offered by ALWUP. Don't be afraid to buy a set of these headphones as they have good reviews. 4.9 out of 5 stars based on 186 reviews is very good. But like any industrial product, not all work properly, which doesn't mean they're all bad. I give 2 stars as they are very comfortable in my ears.
