Of course they are perfect for non stick baking and I wouldn't make cookies, candy etc without them and 3 means more production in less time for less money. But otherwise I find these mats indispensable. When I need a safe cutting board, I put it on my countertop, my table, my cutting board - whatever surface I need to use for cooking - wet or dry - and put my cutting board, plastic or wood, big, thick or small and down thin - over one of these carpets. The cutting board is absolutely non-slip, non-slip, non-slip! Cutting boards stick like glued on. Security, speed and frustration eliminated! I also put one on the bottom of the shipping box when I need to transport a large pastry, pot or pan of food from one place to another: nothing moves during transport.
