Attention metal edge
This wooden ruler will meet your expectations exactly. It is made from a single piece of wood and has a beveled edge on one side. On the other side there is a metal frame. Yes, it matches the description in the listing but the metal edge is not bent or flattened on either of its ends and my son accidentally scratched his finger on one of the ends and it bled. Unfortunately not an ideal start to my family's relationship with this ruler.
