Review on Sony Ubp X800M2 Blu Ray Disc Player by Elder Unogu

Your receiver is not 4k. It works great - sometimes. If I pause the movie and go back while playing a BD, there's a chance the screen will go back and I only hear sound until I restart the player. This also happens randomly when streaming via Netflix, even non-stop, and I have yet to find a reason or a solution, I have the latest firmware. It is connected to a brand new LG C9 which has been flawless and I only have this issue with this BD player. I made this LG app with ARC even though I would have gotten better sound from Sony just for ease of use and LG's Dolby Vision auto detection. The lack of support for Dolby Digital Plus (eac3) support for USB playback is overwhelming. I really hope this gets fixed with a firmware update as this is very disappointing as it is such a widely used codec. I really want to love this BD player I really like it has everything it needs to be great but it is so underperforming that I don't recommend this player to anyone.
