I received these stakes while hiking an extinct snow capped volcano. The inserts are very well made and worked great during my trip. Pros: - Very well made - Various lengths available - Sturdy - Sturdy - There is a hole and hook at the top so you can tie or attach different things. it.Cons: - They're a little heavy, about 6.4 ounces each. Some might not care, but it's useful to know if you're going hiking for a few days, if you're running in the snow or long distances, carry a lot of gear, or if weight is really important. All in all great bets that I would recommend to anyone who needs heavy stakes.
