First, while the photo of the 'clear' version shows a perfectly clear roll, the transparent version comes with a red ribbon insert and a brown ribbon on one side. Don't get discouraged and don't plan on returning like I almost did. I eventually found out that red tape kept the brown glue from covering the two sides during shipping. There are no instructions. Yes, it's easy, but you need to remember two things. 1) Make sure you keep the brown glue on the inside of the car door. 2) Don't pull out too much red tape at once, or the two sides of the tape will stick together. I recommend that you draw an inch or two at a time. I only put it on so I can't comment on how well it will stick over time or how durable it is. No instructions = 4 stars.
