Review on Preserve Your Wines with Vacu Vin Wine Saver Vacuum Stoppers Set of 6 – Grey by Wayne Laguna

I received the plugs and noticed a few things. Firstly I already had a couple of these that look like the product in the photo - gray with 4 vents. These new ones don't look like the photo - they're black instead of gray and only have 3 vents instead of 4, increasing the time it takes to evacuate the air from a wine bottle. Finally, there are a couple of injection molded rubber strips attached to the center lip of the vacuum trigger - which I no longer had and they were well made. All in all they can be used but they don't feel quite right like they are fake compared to a real Vacu Vin product. Alternatively, it could simply be because the Vacu Vin has been redesigned and made cheaper by its production standards. ------------- Update - after a couple of weeks, two didn't hold the vacuum anymore. Very frustrating. I ran to Bed Bath & Beyond and lo and behold they have real Vacu Vins that look just like the ones pictured in this seller's ad. That being said I have to say that this seller misrepresents what they are selling and it is not a genuine item. I would advise everyone to stay away from it.
