    Don't buy better bar and wine tools

    These Vacu-Vin wine storage plugs will NOT work with older Vacu-Vin pumps. At first it seemed like the old pump was creating a vacuum with those stoppers, but when I tried to open the bottle again, the vacuum leaked into the bottle. I figured if I bought the same brand of connector as my pump they would work together. So if you have an old pump, DO NOT buy these plugs.

    Buyer Warning! That does not work.

    Do not buy! They create absolutely no suction! I'm in California temporarily visiting some great wineries. Many bottles cost over $40 each. I'm the only wine lover in the family so I need an open bottle for a few days. A good wine storage stopper with an extra cap can extend the life of a bottle by up to a week. I thought maybe the 1st connector was defective but they were all the same. Very disappointed.

    The items I have received are not those shown in the picture and appear to be of poor quality. I believe these are counterfeit Vacu Vin Inc. items. The items supplied are black and are compared to Vacu Vin Inc. plugs in the photos. However, it seems that they keep the seal in the bottle. Time will tell if they last as long as the "real" ones I used to buy.

    If you love wine, you need this.

    If you're a wine lover, chances are you have several bottles of wine open at once. That's how it was here: I had opened a bottle of dry red wine to cook, another bottle of dessert wine was chilling in the fridge and a third bottle had just been opened. The Vacu Vin only comes with two stoppers so buying this six pack was a must.     Ideal for keeping open wine fresh

    I know a joke about what? wine left? Since I'm the only wine lover in the house, in this case it's actually leftover wine. My liver is irritated from the two and a half glasses I now enjoy every night, so I drink myself to the bottom. straight out. Once you open the wine and get airborne, the wine begins to spoil.     Vacu Vin is the best I've used (so far)

    I've used four different vacuum wine corks over the past few years. One brand is similar to Vacu Vin in that it has an external pump. They don't develop as much suction as the Vacu Vin and only hold a vacuum for a day or two. After 3 or 4 years 3 one of the plugs completely failed (won't close at all) while the other held the vacuum for about 30 minutes. The other two brands had built-in pumps.     fakes! best wine corks

    I received the plugs and noticed a few things. Firstly I already had a couple of these that look like the product in the photo - gray with 4 vents. These new ones don't look like the photo - they're black instead of gray and only have 3 vents instead of 4, increasing the time it takes to evacuate the air from a wine bottle.     Undoubtedly - the most practical and functional!

    Has been drinking wine for 60 years and bought the Vacu-Vin system when it was first introduced in the 80's. Before that I used corks and within a few days I "spoiled the wine". With Vacu-Vin I was able to survive a week with young wines and about 2-3 days with old vintages. I continue to use Vacu-Vin products to this day as they have proven to be dependable and dependable. I've tried others and they didn't work - it's possible that the many ribs you see are helping the vacuum seal last longer.
