This product defiantly solves the problem of little ones being able to reach the light switch. My granddaughter loves it. We used one in her bedroom and in one other room. A plus is it glows in the dark so is easy to see in the dark and the length of the switch extender is long enough that she can easily reach. The screws supplied were too short for my switch box.my house is older so maybe in a more modern house they would work. I replaced the screws provided with a longer screw available at home improvement store. The switch in one room has a decorative plate that prevents the extender from easily turning on the light, off works fine, so we will replace that with a standard plate and I am sure that will solve the problem.
