The battery does not last long. The hard plastic part that rests on the neck is not very suitable. It's not uncomfortable. It's just a weird shape. When it's on the neck, finding the fan button is a little tricky. Otherwise this item is great. It really works lol. I used it on July 4th to celebrate the independence of the greatest country, the USA! It was pretty hot. It took off the edge while I was grilling. I also use a large floor fan to blow on me, but turned it off to try. Worked great. I've used it indoors and outdoors. Remember to keep your hair/beard out of the way, but you can easily adjust the position of the fans. I have about a 6 inch beard and it got caught in the fans a bit. I just adjusted the angle/position of the fans and everything was fine. Bag next time for longer use. The battery area never got hot on my neck. So is it worth the price? For me yes. Some might say no. Fan design still has a long way to go, but so far I'm ok with it.
