My last order came without a screen

I have had my vacuum for over two years now. This is the first time I have received filters without screens. It's probably because of the pandemic. As of today I just moved the screens from the old filters to the new ones, but recently I thought someone should know about this issue. I love this lightweight, reliable handheld vacuum. I can go anywhere with it and I don't have to worry about the cord. I have Ragamuffin cats (very long thin hair). Your hair is everywhere. These are very effective filters. It's best to keep two filters handy at all times. This is a multi-component system with an external fine mesh screen over the HEPA filter and motor filter. The mesh catches large objects by directing smaller particles through the mesh where they are caught by the HEPA filter. I always empty the trash can and remove bulky items that landed on the screen β€” usually cat hair in my case β€” then take them to the sink. Then I remove the screen from the top by rotating it counterclockwise. Trash that is caught can be washed down the drain. I wipe down the screen with mild Dawn dish soap and set it aside to dry. I fill the sink with warm soapy water (Dawn) and soak the HEPA syringe several times. I let it soak and then soak again when I'm done with other things including wiping down the trash can. I rinse the HEPA filter again and then put it somewhere to dry. It takes about a day to dry completely. It is lightweight and has good cleaning power, especially with the whisk attachment. The only improvement would be longer battery life and faster charging times.
