When I was younger I washed my parents car and they used sponges or old rags which can pick up dirt and debris and scratch the car paint. and some of these sponges/rags don't pick up enough water or soap to clean a large area. I love that I can just soak these wash mitts and clean a third of the car with ease. Also, these gloves can hold more dirt or debris and are less likely to scratch the car's paintwork because the microfibers are longer and the dirt is on the inside of the glove rather than the outside. Auto and family cars now because these gloves make it so much easier and faster.
