Like others in the reviews, BPS knives are excellent knives. Like a diamond in the rough, a little polish and you've got a knife that's "higher". Pun. The knife comes up sharp, and for a while with my onion knife sharpener from Ken, it's terribly sharp and holds the blade well. I sanded a very nice walnut handle a bit, added some stain and oil, now the wood is glowing. Put some leg oil on the sheath and it darkens it a bit which I prefer and also adds some external protection. The knife costs less than $30 and feels good in the hand. It has a strong blade and the handle fits snugly on the blade and has the right ergonomic shape. This Ukrainian family outfit did a great job providing a well made knife, great sheath (already $30) and with a little DIY "polishing" a great everyday/hunting/outdoor/hiking/camping tool has provided.
