Excellent bushcraft knife

This knife is great! High quality bushcraft knife. Has a 90 degree spine for hitting ferrorods, 1095 high carbon steel to keep the blade sparkling even on hard rock, ideal for ripping wood, crafting wood tools in the bush, full shank so you can hit it, shape perfect for skinning , holds the edge well . Again and again. I recommend that you spray it with vinegar first to give it a cool patina as 1095 carbon steel will rust. So fight rust by doing it yourself with vinegar.

Poor workmanship of knives and tools

Not a bad knife. No razor shop out of the box. Very uneven Scandinavian polishing. One side was about 17 degrees and the other about 20 degrees and was uneven along the length of the blade. So it's going to take a lot of work to get the other side to 17 degrees to make this thing even. The wooden grip was uneven and didn't match the full stock. I have to sand it down so one half fits the other. This will be a good knife after a lot of work. The only reason not to return it is the hassle. I just

Excellent return on your money.

I was a bit skeptical but I liked what I read in the product reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to get more than my money's worth. The case alone is worth the price. The knife looks exactly as pictured. It's sharp right out of the box, but with a bit of dressing, the hair becomes sharp, like all my knives. Field use will determine the quality of the steel, but I suspect it will be good. I really like the Scandinavian grind when it comes to the camping hassle of preparing firewood for a fire…

Great price, great case.

This thing is beautiful in its simple, unrefined form. It feels good in the hand, sharp, the sheath is very comfortable, thick leather. The blade seems thick enough to withstand rough use. I find the mirror polished blade a bit odd and unnecessary, but it doesn't hurt. Update: Today I used a knife to carve a black walnut that is quite hard and it was amazing. The combination of factory sharpness and sharpening angle made the cut very controlled and smooth, even through branches. I was still…

I still love this knife.

It's well made, just as durable, for the money it's well made, great design, the scabbard is very nice with a pendant. I would like to see a Ferrell rod loop as it is a bushcraft knife. The grip fit isn't the best, but for the money it's ok. I bought three of these and use them regularly: myself, my wife and my father. I have found that all three rust quickly. My father was very badly rusted, the metal was so badly rusted that to remove the rust I had to disassemble the knife, soak it in…

Fantastic knife and sheath, especially for the price.

I have LOTS of bushcraft knives. For the money, this is one of the best decisions you can make. perfect size Great in hand. Fantastic case. The fit and finish isn't perfect, but about 15 minutes of sandpaper to smooth the transition edges where wood meets steel and a few coats of linseed oil on the scales of the handle and the knife is almost phenomenal for the price paid. I fully expected to need to sharpen it now as I've worked with it quite a bit, but I haven't had to grind it into stone…

Great knife great customer service

I ordered a knife but there was a small problem with the sheath. Sent a review via Amazon on Friday afternoon. They emailed me on Saturday and offered to replace the scabbard or the entire order. On Sunday they confirmed that a replacement case would be on its way as soon as possible. Fantastic customer service, plus the knife is great and definitely exceeded my expectations (especially for the price). Great sheath (despite my small issue, they're still a plus), as is the wooden handle and the…

BS2 by BPS Knives is a great knife for hunting and outdoor activities

Like others in the reviews, BPS knives are excellent knives. Like a diamond in the rough, a little polish and you've got a knife that's "higher". Pun. The knife comes up sharp, and for a while with my onion knife sharpener from Ken, it's terribly sharp and holds the blade well. I sanded a very nice walnut handle a bit, added some stain and oil, now the wood is glowing. Put some leg oil on the sheath and it darkens it a bit which I prefer and also adds some external protection. The knife costs…

Little Brother Ontario Bushcraft Field Knife

This knife is excellent in many ways. This is an old school knife with a wooden handle and full shaft. Blade length 4 1/4 inches, width 7/8 inches, thickness 1/8 inches. Knife and Sheath 7.9 oz. Blade polished to a high gloss! - perfect comfort, no hotspots blade - Scandi grind, razor sharp out of the box - No BS! ! I have a penchant for sharpness. The wooden handle is a bit dry - oil. The fit and finish of the handle is very slightly rough. You can sand it down. I like it the way it is, it…
