This product is primarily designed to be mounted on a flat surface. This is not listed in the product description and after receiving it I had to call customer service #. I've been told that the dash mount portion is flexible enough to fit a slightly curved surface, but most of my dash has some form of marbling, which is not recommended. I finally found an even flat surface and after a couple of weeks it seems to be working fine. I am worried that the summer heat will damage the adhesive, but secondary,
