My daughter and I are starting a streaming hobby and we need a better quality webcam for our recordings. I wanted something that was a little easier to move than traditional monitor clips. i really enjoy it No software required, just plug and play. This was immediately recognized by my streaming and capture software. The video quality is smooth and clear. I'm not sure of the exact depth of the video as my internet is still updating and is too slow for maximum video quality. Lighting options are the best. There are three "colors" of lights and then you can press and hold to adjust the brightness. Everything is done on the camera itself. You don't have to switch between programs or anything like that. Ideal for on-the-fly adjustments when it suddenly turns dark or light during recording. I use my own microphone so I can't tell you what the sound quality is like. I can tell you that my software shows a good amount of audio available. I muted the audio, but you can see the bar moving as we speak. Very responsive. Multiple mounting options. I use a tripod and a small box to get her high enough for her to see me and my daughter in the same frame. It's very stable. There are silicone feet on the underside of the tripod legs.
