Review on TRU SPEC Belt Security-Friendly Black: Durable Convenience for Enhanced Personal Safety by Ryan Vaughn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good belt comfortable to wear all day

This is a good belt easy to wear with no signs of wear on the ends or sides. The buckle is made of nylon polymer and is at the heart of the security heading description. This is not entirely true. Yes, since it's nylon it doesn't cause any triggers or alarms on the magnetic pickups as there doesn't seem to be any metal in them to trigger them. However, no major airport uses magnetic scanning anymore, instead using full-body scanners that now use "millimeter-wave" machines that bounce electromagnetic waves off the traveler to create an animated image of where the suspicious item might be located. However, this belt will not speed up your journey in any way, as you still have to remove the belt and send it along with shoes and all other things to X-ray. Another point for those who use Otterbox. Cell Phone Holster/Clip Defender. This strap is slightly wider to slide off the top of the strap when worn and "snap" securely around it. You'll think it's fixed and then slowly lift it up and drop your phone. It happened a few times. However, before threading the belt through the pant loops, take the time to thread the belt through the holster buckle and you don't have to worry about a thing. I've been doing this for a few weeks now and not once did the holster go to the belt. The small bag shown in the item description is VERY small. I use it, like some others, just to fold a note of your choice of denomination and keep the "emergency" note safe, pssst don't tell my wife!
