I have a Vizio S3821W-C0 Soundbar. There have been a few times over the years where the remote control has stopped working. Vizio Support suggests the following procedure to resolve the issue: Please remove the batteries from the remote control and double click each button on the remote control one by one while removing the batteries. Then replace the batteries with new batteries. Then, unplug your VIZIO device from the outlet and, with the device powered off, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds. After the steps are completed, connect your device and try to turn on your VIZIO device with the remote control. Well the above didn't work lately so I bought this remote. Insert the batteries and press the power button. The sound bar is switched on. So what else is there to say other than that it works?
